Well, actually, we put it out in November, but considering I'm so crap at updating stuff like this, can we just pretend this is a new announcement? Thanks

Witches and Bandits and Swords (Oh My), is a choose your own adventure game I started on dA ages and ages ago- and now, finally, coder Mike and I have turned it into a free video game here on Kongregateand Newgrounds, so please (please please) check it out, and any feedback you can give will be useful. I've written a blog post here on how it went, if you're interested. Main feeling from having finished it is an overwhelming sense of relief that it's all done, I can move on with my life, and stop banging on about these bloody witches! Although, it feels strange no longer spending long evenings on rewriting prose sections for the umpteenth time, mixing ambient sounds in Audacity, editing characters and backgrounds on Gimp and exchanging long rambling e-mails with Mike about tiny game details.   

This will change soon as we're starting work on two projects for next year: one football management game, and another choose-your-own-adventure. This one's more schlock and bizarro horror than fantasy, and I'm not even going to attempt to make it family friendly, so expect a lof weirdness

Also, if you're a half-decent artist with dedication but no financial expectations beyond a shared percentage of any profits then please get in touch. If you're not an artist, or you just don't fancy it, then thanks thanks for reading all the same- hope you're having an excellent 2018!

Okay, I'll update this at last as the last one was wishing everyone a happy 2013. Did you have a good 2013? I hope so... 

The main reason for the slow update is that I've let me premium membership lapse, and I didn't want to lose the journal skin and mini-map- I like knowing where people visit my site from But, needs must, especially as I'm too cheap to pay £37 a year for premium membership (the next time they do a half-price or 2 for 1 offer, I'll tihnk about it).

The second is that I'm working on a big big project with my coder, Mike, we're cobbling together a free video game, based on my choose-your-own-adventure ebook Witches and Bandits and Swords (Oh My). The game's too big for dA, but I can post various bits and bobs here- check out the game in graphic novel format in my recent deviations, for instance, or our crappy gaming studio logo.

I'm also doing the various social media things you seem to have to do with any kind of creative work, so please give Krunchy Fried Games a like on one of the links below. We'll almost certainly follow you back if you've got something to promote (unless your page is about nazism or poisoning kittens, or something of course...). Other various tasks include animations, editing graphics and sounds and miscellaneous admin, all while working full time in a hospital. I fondly remember the days when I actually had time to write...
